Phi Phi Don is the largest of Thailand's six Phi Phi Islands, located in the Andaman Sea southeast of Phuket. The island's ecology is under constant pressure from tourists, divers, and local fishermen, as well as from natural disasters, such as the tsunami that struck in 2004.

This composition pays tribute to the precious natural beauty of the island's limestone mountains, caves, long white sandy beaches, and clear waters, emphasized with lighting beneath the translucent Corian surface. The rich vegetation is reflected in the miniature ivy climbing the rock faces.
