About 10,000 years ago, at end of the Ice Age, retreating glaciers carved the Finger Lakes region of west-central New York. Watkins Glen State Park is the best known of New York's Finger Lakes glens and one of the most beautiful natural wonders of eastern North America. Its 7-mile long, 300-foot deep gorge is home to many species of wildlife and offers cool respite for hikers throughout the summer months.

The Korean tray, a casting of 85% mica and graphite, was left unfinished.
