The national preserve of the Adršpach-Teplice Rocks in the Czech Republic was formed by erosion over thousands of years. The area is one of the largest permanent breeding sites of peregrine falcon in Europe, as they are protected here under federal law.

The preserve's many sandstone formations are popular among climbers. Standing 96 meters high, one of the tallest is known as Milenci (The Lovers).
