The calm, focused expression of the face in the driftwood seems undaunted by the turbulent water eroding the surrounding rocks. White cranes flanking the face accompany its gaze into the distance.
Taking moisture and shelter inside the driftwood, the lush foliage thrives.
The Korean tray, a casting of 85% mica and graphite, was hand-rubbed, but otherwise left unfinished.
