This imaginary composition depicts two fishermen comparing their catches as they sit along ledges over the water. A waterfall and mist cascade down the rock faces, around the plantings, and into the lagoon below.

The Korean mica tray is hand-burnished and waxed. Engraved below the lip of the tray are the Chinese characters “shan" and "chuan" (mountains and streams).
